How to get to the Revelwood Ancient Spire in Enshrouded?

Wanna conquer the mysterious Revelwood Ancient Spire in Enshrouded? Don’t sweat it; this guide will be your chill companion to navigating the path and unlocking its secrets. Buckle up. It’s gonna be epic!

One of the most intriguing locations in the game is the Revelwood Ancient Spire, a mysterious tower that holds a powerful artifact and a hidden boss. However, getting to the spire is not easy, as it requires solving several puzzles and fighting through hordes of enemies.

In this article, I will guide you through the steps to reach the Revelwood Ancient Spire and complete the quest.

Ancient Spire Revelwood Location (Where to find)

The Revelwood Ancient Spire is located in the Revelwood Forest, a dense and dark area in the north-east of the map. To enter the forest, you must have completed the Revelwood Key quest, which involves finding four pieces of a broken key scattered around the world. Once you have the key, you can unlock the gate that leads to the forest.

The forest is full of dangers, such as traps, wolves, spiders, and bandits. You must be careful and thoroughly explore the area, as there are many hidden chests and secrets to discover. The spire is located in the center of the forest, but it is surrounded by a magic barrier that prevents you from entering.

To disable the barrier, you need to find and activate four runestones hidden in different parts of the forest. Each runestone has a different symbol and color, corresponding to the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. You need to activate them in the correct order, which is hinted by the clues you can find in the forest.

The order is: fire, water, earth, and air.

To activate a runestone, you need to stand on a pressure plate that matches the symbol and color of the runestone and then use your magic wand to shoot a beam of light at the runestone.

If you do it correctly, you will hear a sound and see a flash of light. You need to do this for all four runestones, and the barrier will disappear, allowing you to enter the spire.

How do I get the Revelwood Key?

The Revelwood Key is a quest item that you need to enter the Revelwood Forest and access the Revelwood Ancient Spire.

To get the key, you need to complete the Revelwood Key quest, which involves finding four pieces of a broken key scattered around the world.

The four pieces of the key are hidden in different locations, and each one is guarded by a mini-boss that you need to defeat. The locations and the mini-bosses are:

  • The Frozen Cave: A snowy cave in the north-west of the map, where you will face a Frost Giant.
  • The Volcanic Island: A small island in the south-east of the map, where you will face a Fire Drake.
  • The Lost Temple: A ruined temple in the south-west of the map, where you will face a Stone Golem.
  • The Sky Fortress: A floating fortress in the north-east of the map, where you will face a Storm Wyvern.

You can do the quest in any order, and you will get a piece of the key after defeating each mini-boss. Once you have all four pieces, you can craft the key at the Key Crafting Site, which is located in a mine near the Revelwood Forest.

You will need some gold and crystals to craft the key, which you can find by exploring the world or trading with other players.

After you craft the key, you can use it to unlock the gate that leads to the Revelwood Forest, and then proceed to the Revelwood Ancient Spire, where you will find more puzzles, secrets, and challenges.

How to get to the Revelwood Ancient Spire in Enshrouded?

1st Floor – Two Buttons Puzzle Door

Once you enter the spire, you will find yourself in a large circular room with a spiral staircase in the middle. The staircase leads to the upper floors, but it is blocked by a metal door that has two buttons on each side.

To open the door, you need to press the buttons in the correct order, which is based on the number of sides of the shapes on the buttons. The order is: triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon.

To press a button, you need to stand on a platform that matches the shape and color of the button, and then use your magic wand to shoot a beam of light at the button.

You will hear a sound and see a flash of light if you did it correctly. You need to do this for all four buttons, and then the door will open, allowing you to go up the staircase.

2nd Floor – Four Buttons Puzzle Door

On the second floor, you will find another circular room with another metal door that has four buttons on each side. To open this door, you need to press the buttons in the correct order, which is based on the number of letters in the words on the buttons. The order is: one, two, three, four.

To press a button, you need to stand on a platform that matches the word and color of the button and then use your magic wand to shoot a beam of light at the button.

This floor ups the ante with four buttons: north, south, east, and west. Confused? Don’t fret! Stand in the center and look at the symbols on the walls. Each symbol points to a specific direction. Match the button to the symbol’s direction, and voila, the door swings open!

You will hear a sound and see a flash of light if you do it correctly. You need to do this for all four buttons, and then the door will open, allowing you to go up the staircase.

Unlock the Final Door

On the third and final floor, you will find a huge circular room with a glass dome in the middle. Inside the dome, you will see a golden pedestal that holds the Ancient Artifact, the object of your quest. However, the dome is locked by a final door that has a puzzle lock on it.

To unlock the door, you need to solve the puzzle, which is based on the order of the planets in the solar system.

The puzzle consists of eight dials that have different symbols and colors, and they correspond to the eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

You need to rotate the dials to align the symbols and colors with the planets and then press the confirm button to check your answer. The correct alignment is:

  • Mercury: orange circle
  • Venus: yellow crescent
  • Earth: blue sphere
  • Mars: red star
  • Jupiter: brown stripe
  • Saturn: green ring
  • Uranus: cyan diamond
  • Neptune: purple swirl

To rotate a dial, you need to stand on a platform that matches the symbol and color of the dial and then use your magic wand to shoot a beam of light at the dial.

You will hear a sound and see the dial move if you do it correctly. You need to do this for all eight dials and then press the confirm button, which is located on a platform that has a white square on it.

The final door requires the Flame Altar. Make sure you’ve upgraded it to Level 3 before coming here. Activate the altar, and the door yields to your power!

You will hear a sound and see the door open if you solve the puzzle correctly.

Complete the Quest

Once you unlock the final door, you can enter the dome and approach the pedestal.

As you do so, you will hear a voice in your head, saying:

“Welcome, brave adventurer. You have proven yourself worthy of the Ancient Artifact. Take it, and use it wisely. But beware, for it comes with a price. A powerful enemy awaits you at the top of the spire. He will not let you leave without a fight. Prepare yourself, for this is your final challenge.”

You can then take the Ancient Artifact, which is a golden orb that glows with a bright light. The orb grants you a boost to your health, mana, and damage, but it also drains your stamina over time. You need to be careful and use it wisely, as it can be both a blessing and a curse.

As soon as you take the orb, the voice will say:

“Very well. You have chosen your fate. Now, face your doom.”

The dome will then shatter, and you will see a giant dragon flying above you. The dragon is the Ancient Guardian, the hidden boss of the spire.

He is very strong, fast, and agile, and he can use fire, ice, and lightning attacks. He will try to kill you and take back the orb. You need to use all your skills, items, and magic to defeat him. This is the hardest and most epic battle in the game, and it will test your limits.

If you defeat the dragon, you will complete the quest and earn a massive amount of experience, gold, and loot. You will also unlock a secret ending that reveals the true origin and purpose of the Ancient Artifact. You can then leave the spire and continue your adventure in Enshrouded.
