Can You Play Act 2 Before Finishing Act 1?
Yes, you can start Act 2 without completing Act 1. When you start the game, a screen will inform you that you can play any act in any order and at any pace.
You can earn tokens for the map you have made active. All acts will be playable for the event’s duration, allowing you to switch between acts as you prefer.
How to Activate Acts in Dota 2 Crownfall
To activate an act:
- Click the act you want to activate.
- A screen will offer a free token to start your journey.
- Click the button to activate the act.
- You can switch between acts by clicking on the desired act’s icon.
Candlemaker: How to Get the Candle Token
In Act 1, the Candlemaker is now accessible. To get the Candle token:
- Zoom in on the top right of the map to find the candle.
- Click the candle to unlock access to a dark hole, revealing a stone tablet with gameplay information and patch notes for patch 7.36.
Tokens from Act 1
Tokens earned in Act 1 remain in Act 1 and cannot be transferred to Act 2. You will need to start from scratch in Act 2.
Act 2 Treasures & FREE Items
Act 2 includes several treasures and free items:
- Major Treasure at the end: Griffin KN outfit and Act 2 completionist trophy.
- Crownfall Treasure 3 and Crownfall Treasure 2 are available as free treasures.
- A free style unlock for the Griffin Knight skin is also available.
Act 2 Paid Items (Druud Pack)
Purchasing the Pathfinder Pack grants access to additional items:
- Two style unlocks (shield and sword for the Griffin Knight skin).
- Extra treasures including Crownfall Treasure 2, Crownfall Treasure 1, and a major treasure with GR’s strap (an immortal item).
- An effigy block of OMX and two extra icons.
- Access to special features like the Candyworks Caravan and the Strange Vendor.
Scrap & NEW Candyworks Caravan
The Candyworks Caravan allows you to collect candies and expand your inventory by visiting more candy shops. This will help in collecting different items and easing your progress.
Encounters, Minigames & FREE Tokens
There are various encounters and minigames throughout the map:
- The Scrap Merchant allows for scrap and token trading.
- The Mysterious Cave and Questing Hearts offer opportunities to earn free tokens.
- The Oasis features a fishing minigame, similar to Act 1.
Rewards (Emoticons, Backgrounds, Sprays & More)
Act 2 offers various rewards:
- Six random emoticons.
- Several loading screens.
- Seasonal sprays.

Consider purchasing the Druud Pathfinder Pack if you want:
- Access to additional paths and side quests.
- Extra candies, treasures, and the Songs of the Cabin music pack.
Treasure 3 Skins (NEW)
